AC-130U Gunship IV model airplane. The AC-130 is a heavily armed aircraft attack land and is a variant of the C-130 Hercules transport. Boeing manufactures and supports the AC-130U Gunship Command of the U.S. Air Force Special Operations. The aircraft represents a major advance compared to other helicopters of the previous generation. The AC-130 gunship has a combat history dating to Vietnam. The gunboat had destroyed more than 10,000 trucks and were credited properly for its ability to save lives close air support force protection. The AC-130 crew earned the Lieutenant General William H. Turner Prize systems to suppress enemy air defense and offensive role during Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada in 1983. The AC-130 also played a key role during Operation Just Cause in Panama in 1989 for the destruction of Panama to host the Defence Force and numerous command and control facilities.
